What is the mission of LifeGroups?
Belong. Behold. Become.

LifeGroups provide opportunities for students to belong in spiritual small group communities, to personally and intimately behold God, and to become empowered as disciple-makers of Jesus Christ.
How many enrichment credits can I receive weekly for attending LifeGroups?
Two. Students only receive two credits for attending one LifeGroup per week.
What kinds of LifeGroups are there?
  1. Activity-basedLifeGroups pursue belonging through activities such as worship, service, mountain biking, hiking, and more.
  2. Bible studyLifeGroups pursue spiritual transformation through activities such as reading a book of the Bible or discussing prophecy. 
  3. Book-basedLifeGroups utilize Christian books such as Captivating, Not a Fan, material by Beth Moore, etc. to pursue spiritual transformation through reading and discussion.
  4. Disciple-makingLifeGroups guide their members to grow in their capacity to help their friends, family, co-workers, or acquaintances move toward and with Jesus.
  5. Support (non-clinical) LifeGroups offer support to individuals navigating concerns such as the pain of losing a loved one, stress and anxiety, mental health, addictions (e.g. pornography), or exploring identity.
  6. Topical LifeGroups pursue spiritual transformation through small group discussion on a particular topic or a variety of topics either pre-selected by the leader or suggested by group members.
Can I join more than one LifeGroup?
We strongly encourage you to commit to only one group in order to maximize your experience. This allows you to be able to build friendship and connect more deeply with those in your LifeGroup.
What day and time do LifeGroups meet?
With over 80 LifeGroups each semester, you’ll have no problem finding a LifeGroup that meets on a day and at a time you can commit to.
What can I expect at typical LifeGroup to look like?
While each LifeGroup looks different based on the passions and interests of its leader, a typical LifeGroup might begin with food, mingling, and an activity before transitioning into a discussion where everyone will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts, and close with meaningful prayer.
