Description/Duties: We are under new management and we are striving to operate a top-notch food service facility.  We are looking for warehouse team with a great attitude and work ethic to join our AWESOME Cafeteria Support Team.  This is the backbone of our department since the production team cannot do their work without supplies and they need to find items quickly and easily.

Every Tuesday and Friday morning our stocker puts away food and supplies that are delivered to Cafeteria from truck deliveries and placing them neatly in the stock room, refrigerator, or freezer.   

This position also involves straightening and keeping the stock rotated, organized, and the areas neat and clean. 

This is a moderate-paced position working alone or with a supervisor.  Previous experience is a benefit but not required.  We are glad to train a willing learner.

Student Advisor

Location/Department: First Year Experience 

Description/Duties: Student Advisors in the FYE Department are responsible for helping new students adjust to campus life. This may look like:

-              Assisting with class registration

-              Connecting students to resources provided on campus

-              Checking up on students who may be struggling to adjust to college life

-              Aiding students in learning how to balance school, work, time with friends, etc.

Student Advisors also assist with departmental programs such as The Main Event, New Student Orientation, and Southern Connections.

Living Memoirs Oral History Project Research Assistant

Description/Duties: This ARC-funded project preserves the stories of our own student missionaries, past and present, for future generations.  The research assistant will independently conduct virtual or in-person audio interviews of past student missionaries. In addition, the research assistant will edit the transcripts generated for the interviews and post the audio, transcript, and a short introductory paragraph to our institutional repository, Knowledge Exchange. The research assistant will contact alumni student missionaries to recruit participants.  All procedures will follow the IRB-approved methods that will be provided.  This is currently a one-semester appointment, but it is open to negotiation and project expansion.
