BA History

The Bachelor of Arts degree in History provides students a well-rounded curriculum of history classes in American, European, and world history. After taking two classes in both world history and American history, students are encouraged to choose upper-division classes that pique their interest and lead to a deeper understanding of the past.

The Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Teaching Certification prepares students to enter the classroom as middle or secondary school history teachers. Students will complete the requirements of a history major while also fulfilling the requirements for teaching certification through the School of Education and Psychology.
