Testing Services Mission
While adhering to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines, Southern Adventist University Testing Services facilitates the administration of testing and assessment programs according to student and institutional needs.
Testing Services supports and promotes the mission of Southern Adventist University by administering university-related test programs (the ETS Proficiency Profile, also known as the Senior Exit Exam), standardized college admission exams (ACT and SAT), and college-level standardized tests for academic credit (CLEP). Testing Services does not offer proctoring services for academic course examinations.
Testing Services is committed to:
- Administering testing programs in a diligent manner to promote honesty, integrity, and fairness in all assessment procedures
- Protecting the confidentiality and rights of privacy of examinees
- Adhering to program requirements of testing companies in the administration of specific tests
- Treating examinees in a fair, courteous, professional, and nondiscriminatory manner
