Why We Do What We Do
The mission of the Evangelistic Resource Center (ERC) is anchored in the statement, "True education is missionary training" (MH 395). Believing that "missionary training" may take on different forms, the ERC provides practical and academic resources for students, pastors, and others wanting to perform research or participate in evangelism.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20, NIV
What We Do
Training
- Interactive technologies and required training provide evangelists with the opportunity to practice their speaking skills and prepare for the mission field.
- Books, periodicals, digital media, and specialized software are provided to educate and inspire those interested in evangelism and missions.
Equipping
- Students participating in summer evangelism are provided all sermons and equipment necessary for preaching an evangelistic series.
Sending
- We have sent hundreds of student evangelists across the globe, and God's saving power has been seen as thousands have accepted Christ and been baptized.
