Enactus Team Earns Second Place at National Competition

Southern Adventist University’s Enactus team placed second in its league during a recent competition in Kansas City, Missouri. The event brought together teams from across the country to showcase innovative projects focused on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social impact. Southern Business Students Excel in CFA Research Challenge

Southern Adventist University’s business students showcased their financial expertise, securing 2nd place among 10 schools in the CFA Institute Research Challenge Southeastern sub-region. This prestigious competition tested students’ equity research and valuation skills, giving them real-world experience in investment analysis. Their impressive performance highlights the strength of Southern’s business program and the dedication of its students.

Southern Students Shine in Bloomberg Trading Challenge

Southern Adventist University’s School of Business students showcased their financial acumen in the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge, with one of our teams finishing an impressive 144th out of 2,174 teams worldwide. This achievement places them in the top 6%, outperforming 94% of competitors from universities across the globe. Their success highlights our students' dedication to achieving outstanding results on the international stage.

Making a Difference in Housing

David Grabiner, an alumnus of Southern’s School of Business, has been named Best Landlord of the Year by the City of Chattanooga’s Office of Homelessness and Supportive Housing. Recognized for his dedication to providing safe housing, David has helped numerous individuals transition from homelessness to stability. His inspiring work exemplifies the mission of our School of Business—using skills to serve the community and create meaningful change.
