Planning to take a business course from another college/university while enrolled
at Southern?
Once you've enrolled at Southern, any course(s) taken at another school is referred
to as a transient course and requires pre-approval by the dean of your academic program
in order to apply to degree requirements.
The school of business requires that all transient business courses must be taken
through an AACSB-accredited business program.
Have a specific school in mind? Search for it on the AACSB website: https://www.aacsb.edu/accredited. If the school you have in mind is not listed, you will need to choose a course at
another school.
Transient courses must be for the same number of credit hours as the course you would
have taken at Southern.
Talk to your adviser to determine if a transient course is the best path forward based
on your academic program.
