In 1972, when Southern was still Southern Missionary College and Four Corners was
a simple four-way stop, the yearbook staff documented the drive from I-75 to campus.
While the last 46 years have brought significant change and growth to the surrounding
area and to the school, travelers can still find familiar landmarks, such as the gas
station at the intersection of Old Lee Highway and Apison Pike and the iconic columns
